Explore the secret of the Ruby Copper producing process

Ruby Copper has achieved a large number of quality standards such as ASTM B68, ASTM B280, JIS H3300, ASTM B88, which are the most rigorous standards applied to copper tubes worldwide. To achieve such outstanding quality, Ruby Copper factory has applied quality management system ISO 9001: 2008 and the production process has been made properly rigorous inspection process from selecting of raw input to giving products to market.


Ruby Copper Tubes are made of cathode copper materials with copper purity of 99.96%, a clear origin, produced and distributed by the major brands in the world. Here are some photos about raw materials import used to produce Ruby Copper.
 
 




 
After strict selection of materials, the manufacturing process goes to melting and casting copper ingot. This is one of the important steps of manufacturing Ruby Copper process. This stage determines the stability and plasticity of Ruby Copper Tubes. The furnace temperature is maintained between 1155oC and 1174oC. This is the ideal temperature to cast ingot tube in order to achieve the best crystallization, thereby the outstanding features of Ruby Copper would be presented.



 
The next step in the process of manufacturing Ruby Copper Tubes is machining the copper tubes, including milling the surface to ensure that the ingot has a smooth surface, and copper-oxide layer is removed on rigid surface during the casting process.



 
Then the ingot is inserted into the planetary rolling mill. This process helps shrink the diameter and thickness of the ingot, and under pressure of the rolling blocks, molecules are rearranged and better linked together. This makes the machining process easy and stable.



 
Following are the stages of copper manufacturing: Combine Drawing, Spinner Block, Level Winding and Cut Off, Annealing Furnace, Packing and Ready for dispatch.
 

 
 




 
In the entire production process, skilled technicians carefully supervise each stage of manufacturing with support from modern and advanced equipment such as tractors - testing the tensile strength of the copper tubes; spectrum analyzer - detailed analyzes composition of copper, any unusual ingredients in components affecting to the quality tube are thoroughly treated.
 




A Microscope with 100 times magnification is used to check the quality of tube’s surface. Tube defects detection equipment is equipped on the rolling machine and cutting mill. Any small defects of tubes can be identified and marked to remove.


 
The specialty of Copper Ruby products is that net weight of the copper tube is printed outside the package, this ensures to avoid ambiguity in weight between packing list of the shipping and net weight of other Copper Tubes brands.
